My name is Tong Chhin, and I started Angkoroma because I wanted to bring Cambodian products to the U.S. in a way that feels real, trustworthy, and easy to find.

I came to America as an immigrant from Cambodia, and like many immigrant families, food has always been one of the strongest connections to home. Rice is something I grew up with. It is on the table every day, at family gatherings, at temples, at restaurants, and in the community.

When I started looking at the market here, I noticed that Cambodian rice and Cambodian food products were not represented the way they should be. There are many great products from Cambodia, but they are not always easy to find, and they are not always presented in a way that fits the U.S. market.

That is why I created Angkoroma.

Our first product is Angkoroma Premium Cambodian Jasmine Rice. It is a 50 lb bag made for families, restaurants, grocery stores, temples, and anyone who wants quality Cambodian rice.

Angkoroma is operated by CMTS Imports LLC in California. We are still growing, but the goal is simple: bring more Cambodian products to American shelves and build a brand our community can be proud of.

From Cambodia to California, Angkoroma is my way of sharing a piece of home.
